Biography

Dr Ajay Shah received his PhD degree in Food Technology in collaboration with University of Leeds and Humberside Polytechnic (UK) on Extrusion Cooking of Cod /Corn Grit Mixtures in 1991. He has spent over 25 years of his career in academia and in the food industry. Dr Shah has lectured in the field of Food Science and Technology to University students in Australia, UK and New Zealand. He has been actively involved with research and development and supervising higher degree students. In addition he has reviewed Food Science and Technology books for Australian Institute of Food science & Technology as well as the Institute of Food Science & Technology (UK). Dr Shah has shared his expertise by presenting technical seminars and workshops at International conferences. Dr Shah operates a Food Technical Consultancy business in providing Scientific and Technical Food Solutions to the food industry.
